Regulation Day: Devconnect Edition - Recap
Regulation Day made its debut at Devconnect, bringing together more than 45 speakers, public-sector representatives, industry leaders, ecosystem organizations, and key voices from Argentina and around the world. It created a space for meaningful, face-to-face work on the regulatory challenges and opportunities that will shape the future of our industry in the region. Devconnect offered a unique context, thousands of global entrepreneurs and builders in Argentina, and a shared recognition that the region is central to the future of crypto and digital innovation. Regulation Day became the space where these perspectives met. More than 500 people attended the conference, and major national media outlets amplified the discussions held on stage, especially the perspectives shared by policymakers on the evolution of crypto and AI regulation in the country. One theme emerged across all sessions: Argentina has a real opportunity to position itself as a regional reference in smart, forward-looking regulation. With the right institutional foundations, the country can offer the stability, competitiveness, and global alignment that startups, investors, and emerging technologies need to thrive. What became clear throughout the day is that Argentina stands at a turning point. The 4th edition of Regulation Day reaffirmed something essential: progress requires collaboration. Public institutions, private stakeholders, and the builder community must work together to design frameworks that protect users, guide innovation, and unlock long-term growth.
