[trustless://eil] Bartek Kiepuszewski - Interop Risk Framework by L2BEAT

During DevCon Bogota L2BEAT introduced a simple risk framework for bridges. The interop space has evolved significantly since then and Bartek Kiepuszewski of L2BEAT believes that a new comprehensive risk framework for interop is needed not only to surface risks to users, but similarly to the Stages framework for L2s to set guidelines and expectations for the teams building trustless solutions Talk given during day 1 of the trustless:// conference at Devconnect Argentina 2025 https://trustlessconference.com

[trustless://eil] Kaan Uzdogan - Why Contract Verification Needs to Open Up

A talk during trustless:// by Kaan Uzdogan from the Argot Collective about Source code verification. Source code verification is the basis of trustlessness in Ethereum. Contracts are just a black box without verified code. Ethereum has good verification culture and expects contracts to be verified. But despite its importance, the status quo in verification itself is suboptimal and does not align with Ethereum's values. Verifiers/Explorers are closed-source, the contract datasets are closed and centralized, and the UX is painful. Sourcify, as a member of the Verifier Alliance is working towards pushing the verification ecosystem to open up and decentralize by sharing contract data, creating better tooling, and enabling interoparability between verifiers. [trustless://eil] Panel - Banks won’t go onchain until we fix privacy

This panel moderated by Tom Teman (Ethereum Foundation) together with Fredrik (Ethereum Foundation), Arik Galansky (Fireblocks), Amzah Moelah (ABN AMRO), Jakub Lesniowski (UBS) discuss the fact that public blockchains are transparent by design - an uncomfortable reality for banks that handle confidential client and operational data. This panel unpacks why privacy is the missing piece preventing institutions from fully embracing onchain finance. Together with experts from leading banks and the Ethereum ecosystem, we’ll explore regulatory compliance through zero-knowledge proofs, user and institutional privacy, and the balance between transparency, trustlessness, and confidentiality in decentralized systems.
