What Can Ethereum Do for India? A Live Deliberation Workshop

Duration: NaN:NaN:NaN

Speaker: Yuting Jiang, Nicolas Gimenez, Pree

Type: Workshop

Expertise: No prior knowledge

Event: Devcon

Date: Nov 2026

Ethereum describes itself as credibly neutral infrastructure guided by CROPS: censorship resistance, open source, privacy and security. But what does that mean for the problems people in India deal with every day? This workshop invites participants as residents and citizens with local knowledge, not as crypto experts. Together they think through real problems, ask whether blockchains help, and ask when Ethereum’s neutrality and CROPS become a must-have rather than a nice-to-have. It’s also a chance to exercise civic muscles: deliberating and proposing with best-in-class tools. No blockchain knowledge assumed.
