Traditional video calls put everyone into the same virtual room. Loungemesh takes a different approach: people move between spatial video conversations, creating something closer to the spontaneous interactions of a physical hallway. This talk explores the engineering behind that idea, the problems that appear when video communication becomes spatial, and how Loungemesh integrates with Eventyay to bring informal interaction into online events.
