🛖 India Hub - Indian Builder Ecosystem

Duration: NaN:NaN:NaN

Speaker: Rishikesh Kale

Type: Talk

Expertise: No prior knowledge

Event: Devcon

Date: Nov 2026

As Ethereum’s global community lands in Mumbai, India’s developer ecosystem stands at a crucial turning point. This talk examines the key lessons learned from organizing nationwide build battles, local activations, and hacker residencies that brought hundreds of new developers into Web3. We will dissect what makes Indian builder communities unique, from rapid upskilling in AI-crypto primitives and Account Abstraction to building decentralized infrastructure. Crucially, this talk provides a roadmap for what to expect at the India Hub over the next four days. Rather than focusing on theoretical talks, we outline how builders can engage with onsite mentors, participate in interactive co-building sessions, and leverage the hub’s resources to launch production-ready open-source projects before Devcon concludes.
