Implementation of FOCIL in Lighthouse

Duration: NaN:NaN:NaN

Speaker: Cristian Conache, Rahul Barman

Type: CLS - EPF Talk

Expertise: No prior knowledge

Event: Devcon

Date: Nov 2026

FOCIL puts censorship resistance directly into consensus: each slot, a 16-validator committee broadcasts inclusion lists, and fork choice refuses to extend payloads that ignore them. We've been working on implementing EIP-7805 in Lighthouse (as EPF fellows), and this talk will detail how we've done it and what we learned throughout the process.
