Ethereum evolves through open collaboration, but understanding how proposals become standards, protocol upgrades, and real-world implementations can be challenging. This 60-minute interactive workshop explores four paths of Ethereum improvement: Governance & Editorial, Core Protocol & Upgrades, Application Standards, and Enterprise & Adoption. Using real proposals such as ERC-4337 and EIP-8141, participants will learn how ideas are proposed, reviewed, implemented, and adopted, and why community participation matters. Through interactive challenges, participants will identify an Ethereum ecosystem problem, develop a potential improvement, and pitch their idea for a chance to win EIP Hub swag. The workshop offers practical insight into Ethereum’s open standards process and helps newcomers and experienced participants discover meaningful ways to contribute.
