Building a Privacy Browser for Ethereum

Duration: NaN:NaN:NaN

Speaker: Florian Glatz

Type: Lightning Talk

Expertise: No prior knowledge

Event: Devcon

Date: Nov 2026

Today, a wallet address lets dApps profile you across the web. The services that connect your wallet to Ethereum can see your IP address. Any transaction leaves a permanent public trail. Your browser has a unique fingerprint. This talk explains how building a dedicated browser for Ethereum can address these privacy issues from the ground up: by running more of the stack on the user's own device, routing sensitive requests privately, giving users separate wallet identities for different dApps, building private transactions into the wallet and maximizing the size of the anonymity set your browser belongs to. I will distinguish what works today, what we are implementing next, and what remains unresolved. The goal is privacy by default across the entire stack.
