Let's take a look at the upcoming technology on getting you containers to be.... bootable. This talk will be a high level overview on what the bootc [https://bootc.dev/](https://bootc.dev/) is, the main motivations, how it differs from traditional operating systems, and how it is built. We will look on projects which already employ this technology from the likes of the gaming distro Bazzite and it's base with fedora atomic and how this technology is shaping the linux distro market forward. By the end of this talk, we will have a demo on getting a bootable container up and running.
