🛖 Agentic Hub - Can We Trust the Machines? A Live Trial

Duration: NaN:NaN:NaN

Speaker: Lena Hierzi, Fortunato, András Arányi

Type: Talk

Expertise: No prior knowledge

Event: Devcon

Date: Nov 2026

Agent payments are live, but trusting an agent that spends money is still mostly guesswork. In one talk, we put a real Claude agent on trial on Celo mainnet, in a single terminal. It registers an ERC-8004 identity, earns 0.10 USD₮, pays for an API through x402, then buys a report from a provider with no reputation and receives junk. It opens a dispute through Kleros, and the ruling is written back as ERC-8004 reputation feedback. Every step leaves evidence: transactions, feedback entries, and the agent's memory and receipts on Swarm, a decentralized storage network where no single server can alter or take them down, with the hash on chain so anyone can fetch the bytes and check them. We show what each piece proves, where reputation can be gamed, and what makes a dispute credible. The audience closes the trial by voting on whether they would trust this agent.
